How to navigate terms questions on GlobeIce

Terms should help users understand not only the rules, but also which operational GlobeIce lane to open next when the question becomes practical.
Privacy and data handling
Open Privacy when the question is not what GlobeIce allows, but how GlobeIce handles personal data, preferences, and published information.
Contact and enforcement
Open Contact when the terms question has become a real rights issue, safety problem, onboarding concern, or trust-routing case.
Marketplace and Jobs
Open Marketplace or Jobs when the real question is how commercial or public opportunity surfaces behave in practice on GlobeIce.
Official pages and trust
Open Sources when the terms issue overlaps with official status, provenance, moderation, or what should count as a trusted public surface.
Core Terms

Rules for using GlobeIce

GlobeIce should be usable, governable, and safe across public hockey discovery, organization workflows, official pages, and paid services. These terms describe that baseline.

1. Acceptance and scope

By using GlobeIce, you agree to these terms for the parts of the platform you access. Some services may also have additional rules, organization policies, or product-specific requirements.

2. Accounts and access

Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for using the platform only within the permissions granted to them. GlobeIce may require verification, workspace approval, or role review before some features become available.

3. Organization authority

If you act on behalf of a club, federation, arena, academy, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to do so. GlobeIce may ask for proof before granting administrative or official-page control.

4. Public knowledge and official pages

GlobeIce may publish its own public informational pages about countries, clubs, arenas, players, leagues, federations, championships, cups, and other hockey entities. Those public pages are separate from any official page an organization or member builds on GlobeIce.

5. User submissions and official content

Users remain responsible for material they submit, publish, upload, or manage. By submitting content to GlobeIce, you grant GlobeIce the rights needed to host, process, moderate, review, organize, and display that content in connection with the service.

6. Canon, trust, and moderation

GlobeIce may review, delay, edit, reject, merge, or remove submissions when needed for safety, accuracy, rights, source quality, moderation, or canonical consistency. GlobeIce is not required to publish everything exactly as submitted.

7. Jobs, Marketplace, and Academy

Commercial or public opportunity surfaces may have additional rules for accuracy, eligibility, payments, listings, refunds, and safety. GlobeIce may review or suspend postings, listings, entitlements, or related accounts when trust or policy concerns arise.

8. Payments and subscriptions

If GlobeIce offers paid products or subscriptions, pricing, billing cadence, renewal, digital delivery, and refund posture will be communicated within the relevant product flow. Payment processing may be handled by a third-party provider instead of directly by GlobeIce.

9. Acceptable use

You may not use GlobeIce to impersonate others, abuse minors or vulnerable people, infringe rights, scrape or attack the platform in bad faith, post fraudulent listings, distribute malware, violate law, or undermine trust in the service.

10. Suspension and termination

GlobeIce may restrict or suspend accounts, workspaces, listings, official pages, or submissions if terms, law, safety, billing, moderation, or source-governance requirements are violated or seriously at risk.

11. Intellectual property

GlobeIce and its branding, software, design, data organization, and editorial systems are protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Third-party trademarks, logos, and media remain subject to their respective owners' rights.

12. Service availability and disclaimers

GlobeIce aims to be reliable and world class, but services may change, pause, or contain errors while the platform evolves. Except where law requires otherwise, the service is provided on an as-available basis.

13. Limitation and governing layer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlobeIce is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses arising from service use, data issues, or user-generated content. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected where they cannot be waived.

14. Changes to the terms

GlobeIce may update these terms over time. Material changes should be reflected on this page, and continued use after those changes means the updated terms apply to future use.
